SDG Action Weekend
The SDG Action Weekend 2023 occurred on September 16–17, 2023, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. The event featured two primary parts: the SDG Mobilization Day on September 16 and the SDG Acceleration Day on September 17. The SDG Mobilization Day aimed to bring together stakeholders from diverse sectors to discuss ways to contribute to the SDG Summit and the UN General Assembly High-Level Week.
Govardhan App advocates for SDGs related to health, education, poverty, and more. They participated in the Climate Week Strike in NYC, USA, advocating for health. Additionally, they met with friends to discuss future plans for COP28 and made new connections at the event.

The Climate Week also featured a Health reception, providing a special chance to connect with outstanding individuals actively engaged in the intersection of climate and health. Delighted to be part of such an event!
Battery Park City
Battery Park City
Had an incredible experience engaging in nature talks with Govardhan and taking a tour of Battery Park City to learn about the conservation efforts and biodiversity preservation. The session provided valuable insights into how these initiatives are undertaken and how individuals can contribute. It was enlightening to see the efforts people are making in this regard. The tour of the city's habitat was particularly insightful. I gained valuable knowledge for app development and am now considering collaboration opportunities as well.

Received a last-minute invitation to the World Biodiversity Summit, and I'm grateful to the organizers for extending the opportunity. The event was enriching, and I gained valuable insights while also networking with like-minded individuals.
Qatar & Youth Event
Qatar & Youth Event
Thanks to a friend's referral, I was fortunate to be invited to the Climate Action & Youth Empowerment event in Qatar, organized by the Qatar Ministry and GGGI, an intergovernmental organization. The event was incredibly insightful, and I established groundbreaking connections with representatives from the Qatar Ministry. I had the opportunity to showcase the Govardhan app and more importantly, shared the story of how Mexico supported my Climate Entertainment Project in their Parliament. This experience highlighted the power of youth in fostering collaboration between nations.

Wrapping up my visit to the International Youth Conference (IYC) with heartfelt gratitude to the organizing team for the invitation, especially Jessica Li and Priyanka.
Wrapping up the last day with some fun activities, including a get-together with fellow Nature4Youth Delegates and later celebrating Henk's birthday with a night party.
